Cryptopia, the now-defunct New Zealand exchange, just released the first of a series of reports based on the discoveries of the liquidators from Grant Thornton New Zealand. For now, the liquidators have only set a tentative number on the potential demands of creditors, expecting claims to increase the total in the near future.

The liquidators have pointed to a list of secured creditors, including the employees of Cryptopia. The former staff has claims to $320,000 in salaries, with additional claims from counterparties offering web-based services and security…
